I purchased a shirt as an Xmas gift for my son in law and arranged delivery to my own home as we were planning on visiting them in London for the Xmas period. Unfortunately, England went into lockdown before Xmas and we unable to go ahead with our trip, so I had to post the shirt via Royal Mail. Unfortunately, Royal Mail did not deliver until 3 weeks later as a result of so much Xmas post.
I contacted the customer service dept, however, the company has a 30 day return policy, they agreed a couple of extra days due to the Xmas period. I did not want a refund but to exchange the shirt for a larger size, so to be honest I was disappointed in the returns arrangement . I appreciate the mail arrangements here in the UK and Covid restrictions are beyond the company's control , but were also beyond ours. As my daughter is pregnant, I would rather my daughter and son in law remain safe than having to rush to post an item due to the company's return policy.
On advising the company of the situation, I received no further response so therefore feel as far as a review for the product and service are concerned I would struggle to give anything above a 2 star rating with regards my quality service experience.
